combines dirt roads and marked footpaths of the Lycian Way, initially following an old mining road to Maden Beach. The trail then continues along rocky paths and secluded beaches, offering several chances to swim in the turquoise waters. This day features fantastic coastal panoramas and winding paths that ultimately descend to an asphalt road leading into Cirali, a quiet village nestled between the ancient ruins of Olympos and the fiery Chimaira. After the walk, you will be transferred back (10–15 minutes, 15 km) to your accommodation in Ulupinar.
Today’s trail leads you through lush pine forests alongside streams and rivers. Starting from Ulupinar, you follow the Lycian Way southwards, tracing the stream before ascending a small hill. The highlight is reaching the famous flames of Chimaira (Yanartas), a natural gas phenomenon where methane vents ignite, creating eternal flames visible since ancient times. This mysterious site once guided sailors along the coast. Following the descent from the hill, you arrive at Cirali beach where you will stay overnight at a charming family-run pension.
The day starts by trekking towards Adrasan, passing through the evocative ruins of Olympos, an ancient city founded during the Hellenistic period nestled in a river valley near the coast. Afterwards, you ascend Musa Dag (Mount Moses), traversing pine-covered ridges offering splendid views of the surrounding valleys. At the summit, overlook Adrasan valley before descending through fragrant pine forests down to sea level. Adrasan is a tranquil coastal village with a 2 km sandy beach, ideal for relaxing and swimming after your long hike.
A highlight of the trip, this day features superb coastal walking starting from Karaoz. After a short transfer (30–40 minutes, 30 km) from Adrasan, you ascend a pine-covered trail to a rocky ridge overlooking Cape Gelidonya and its famous lighthouse. The route offers breathtaking views of hidden coves and deserted islands. The path meanders along limestone cliffs and through pine woods, gradually descending from around 470 meters altitude down to Adrasan where you spend the night.
Following breakfast, you are privately transferred from your accommodation to the main road, where you will take a public bus to Antalya. Upon arrival, a taxi will take you to your hotel in Antalya’s old city, Kaleici. The afternoon is free to explore this historic quarter with its narrow streets, shops, cafes, and cultural landmarks at your leisure. Most taxi drivers understand English and the address near Kesik Minaret is well-known.
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer back to Antalya airport where your memorable journey concludes.
